China’s vaccine diplomacy in Africa

China’s vaccine diplomacy is very active in Africa. It includes a donation of COVID-19 vaccines to 50 African countries and the AU Commission.  

China is also launching in April 2021 the African Vaccine Manufacturing Partnership (AVMP) in cooperation with the African Union launched by the African Union in April 2021.
