Dr Biljana Scott delivered a workshop on ‘Public Diplomacy: Language and Persuasion‘ at the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Pretoria, 21 October 2010). It was attended by 50 diplomats and other high officials. Dr Scott focused on some of the language skills essential to the practice of public diplomacy. The South African diplomatic service and DiploFoundation are discussing training and capacity building activities in the field of public diplomacy and e-diplomacy.
