[Briefing #7] Internet governance in July and August 2014

02 September 2014 -

online and WMO building, Geneva

The Geneva Briefing on Internet Governance takes place on the first Tuesday of every month. If you would like to get a regular ‘zoomed-out’ update of the major global IG and digital policies developments, join us online for the webinar briefing from Geneva within the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) project on Tuesday, 2 September 2014 at 13.00 CET. If you are in Geneva, join us in situ, if you are somewhere else, join us online. The September webinar will be delivered live from the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Istanbul.

Note: This webinar has been postponed to Tuesday, 9th September, at 11 GMT (13 CET). Read more here.

You receive hundreds of pieces of information on digital politics.
We receive them, too.
We decode, contextualise, and analyse them.
Then we summarise them for you.

Join us once a month for a round-up of the main IG-related events and developments. Every month, we look back at what happened and look ahead to what’s to come. This webinar will be taking place live from the IGF and be followed by the Official Opening of the Forum.

Our previous webinar provided an overview of May’s developments and an insight into June-August’s expectations. An overview of IG developments during summer is available in the “[Briefing #7] Internet governance in July and August 2014” blog post.

The next Geneva Briefing webinar will take place on Tuesday, 2 September 2014, at 13.00 CET, live from the IGF in Istanbul. The webinar takes place online and in situ at 7 bis Avenue de la Paix, Geneva (WMO building, 2nd floor).
