Every month, Diplo – as operator of the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) – hosts briefings on digital tech and policy issues for Geneva-based diplomats.
In October, we focused on updates from UNGA78, the SDG Summit, and the Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Summit of the Future.
In this context, our briefing covered issues such as: Which digital policy issues were raised by which countries during the UNGA General Debate? What was said at the ministerial meeting on the Global Digital Compact (GDC)? Any interesting updates on global AI governance and the High Level Advisory Body on AI?
