From May 26 to May 30, Diplo took part in the Internet Forum in Brazil (FIB), organised by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br). Marilia Maciel spoke in the session ‘Cloud infrastructures and sovereignty: the role of the State and the contributions of multistakeholderism’, organised by Legal Fronts Institute. She also contributed comments to the main session on ‘Principles and Guidelines for regulating digital platforms’.

Marilia received the prize “Destaques em Governança da Internet no Brasil”, a prestigious award granted to people and organisations for their contribution to the development of the internet in the country.

Diplo is also honoured to have taken part in the celebration of the 30 years of CGI.br, a reference in multistakeholder governance. CGI.br has not only helped to shape national digital policy but also inspired collaborative approaches around the world.
