Diplo and the University of Malta hosted a 10-day introductory workshop for the 2017 Master/Postgraduate Diploma in ‘Contemporary Diplomacy’, starting on 1 February 2017. The workshop included a range of diplomacy-related sessions delivered by experienced practitioners. Topics included negotiations, language and influence, diplomatic protocol, digital diplomacy, the United Nations system, and consular affairs. This well-established annual programme attracts diplomats, staff from international organisations, participants from the business and NGO sectors, journalists, and academics.
