Event description
The Brussels launch of Diplo’s E-diplomacy Initiative took place in April 2010 at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU. The session was the first of a series of pre-conference events leading up to the International E-diplomacy Conference held in Malta later in June. Dr Jovan Kurbalija and Stefano Baldi, First Counsellor at the Italian Representation to the EU, were the main speakers who addressed the 60 participants on the appropriate use of e-tools for a more effective use of time and energy, emphasising the goal of ‘working smarter, not harder’. A variety of e-tools was presented, with an emphasis on optimising information management for diplomats.
