Event description
The ‘Language and Influence’ workshop took place in March 2010, in Malta. The workshop explored how language works and how it should be used to attain goals. The primary objective was to provide participants with a linguistic toolkit that would enable them to use language effectively, and to defuse the most frequent difficulties of language use, such as ambiguity, analogy, argumentation, and suggestion.
