Event description
Two interactive workshops were organised in August 2015 in Bangkok. The first workshop, on 24-27 August, welcomed diplomats from ASEM countries to public diplomacy training. The second workshop, ‘Asia Cyber Diplomacy for diplomats from ASEAN countries’, organised on 28-29 August in partnership with the Dutch government, Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, brought together a diverse set of participants: from newcomers to the subject to experienced actors in the field, from well-seasoned diplomats to young professionals, and from Asians to Europeans and South Americans.
