Cybersecurity in SEE

Event description

Over the years, Diplo has executed numerous projects and capacity development initiatives in collaboration with the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF). The objective of these programs was to enhance cybersecurity capabilities within public institutions, as well as the private and civil sectors in the Southeastern European (SEE) region.

Cybersecurity for SEE online course (Ongoing) /course/

  • Description: This course aims to increase cybersecurity capacities of public institutions and the private and civil sectors in SEE, through providing policy training aimed in particular at young officials and professionals.
  • Implemented by: DCAF and DiploFoundation, with the support of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA of Switzerland.
  • Dates: Ongoing

Young Faces Conference: Strategic cybersecurity policy development in Southeast Europe (2016) /training/

  • Description: The program enhanced participants’ comprehension of cybersecurity governance challenges through a combination of distance learning modules and a three-day workshop.
  • Implemented by: DCAF and DiploFoundation.
