Event description
Over the years, the Diplo Foundation has played a proactive role in organising a multitude of seminars, workshops, and lectures with the overarching goal of enhancing understanding and awareness of digital matters. These initiatives were predominantly conducted in partnership with regional diplomatic academies and MFAs. Primarily targeting aspiring young diplomats.
Excellence in Diplomacy – Young Leadership Diplomatic Seminar (2013)
- Diplo delivered a training session on e-diplomacy during the 6th ‘Excellence in Diplomacy – Young Leadership Diplomatic Seminar’ by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.

E-Diplomacy at Montenegro Summer School for Young Diplomats (2013)
- A two-hour session on ‘E-Diplomacy: Between Tradition and Innovations’ session was delivered by Diplo Foundation lecturers within the 6th Montenegro Summer School for Young Diplomats ‘Gavro Vukovic’.

Presentation by Dr Jovan Kurbalija at the Belgrade Seminar on ‘Excellence in Diplomacy’ (2012)
- Dr. Jovan Kurbalija delivered a presentation on diplomatic excellence in the Internet era at the 5th Seminar on ‘Excellence in Diplomacy – Young Leadership Diplomatic Seminar’ at the Diplomatic Academy’ Koca Popovic’ of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.

E-diplomacy and e-governance seminars for government officials (2010)
- Two seminars on e-diplomacy and e-governance were held in Belgrade and Podgorica for diplomats and government officials from Serbia and Montenegro. The seminars were organised and supported by the Vienna Diplomatic Academy.

Impact of ICT on diplomats’ careers (2010)
- Jovan Kurbalija and Vladimir Radunovic delivered a presentation on e-diplomacy at the ‘Excellence in Diplomacy – Young Leadership Diplomatic Seminar’ in Belgrade, Serbia. The seminar, organised by the Serbian Diplomatic Academy and held on 16 December 2010, was attended by junior diplomats from South East Europe.
