Diplo will be taking part in the conference, African Diplomacy: Identity, Objectives and Realities in a Dynamic and Changing World, taking place from 28 February to 1 March 2018, in South Africa. Diplo’s Dr Katharina Höne will be speaking about ‘The African State in the 4th Industrial Revolution: The Critical Responses in our Diplomacy’.
The conference, hosted by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) of the Republic of South Africa, will bring together African diplomatic academies, universities and research institutions.
The aim of the conference is to create a platform for meaningful engagement and exchange of ideas around major trends in diplomacy, especially the soft power tools.
