2022 trends for digital diplomacy and governance
The Economist published Tom Standage’s 2022 prediction. It contains a few points that are directly relevant to diplomacy as well as digital governance. Â
First, the future workplace will be a hybrid of online and home-based work. One example is that half of business travel is now gone.
Second, the techlash will increase. Global governments will attempt to regulate tech companies.
Third, central banks and monetary authorities will attempt to regulate cryptocurrency.
