Dr Patrick Furrer acted as EU National Contact Point for the European Programme in ICT in Switzerland for nearly 13 years. He then assumed the role of vice-rector for research and innovation at the largest University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland (HES-SO), before becoming national coordinator for the scientific information program (2017-2020).
