Nikola Božić is a science educator and science communicator. For the last 15 years, he has been involved in various educational programmes for gifted high-school students. He was the director and programme director of the Petnica Science Center, an independent organisation for extracurricular science education in Southeast Europe.

Nikola has organised dozens of educational programmes in science for students, high-school students, elementary-school students, and teachers. He has set the concepts of several successful interdisciplinary programmes that connected different scientific disciplines. Nikola lectures on different scientific topics. He is a TEDx speaker and writes popular science articles.

Nikola was named Knight in the Order of the Academic Palms by the French Republic for his activities in scientific and educational cooperation between Serbia and France.
