The report ‘Mapping the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence for the conduct of diplomacy’ was launched on 28 January 2019. Commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the report maps the relationship between AI and diplomacy, takes a comparative look at national AI strategies, explores the possibilities of AI as a tool for diplomacy, and highlights the impact of AI on human rights and the responsibilities of states.
