Event description
In 2003, Diplo got invovled with the World Summit on the Information Socieity (WSIS). Diplo was present during the second meeting of the Preparatory Committee for WSIS (PrepCom-2), which took place in Geneva in February 2003, launching a web portal focusing on the diplomatic aspects of the WSIS. Many of Diplo’s training activities (courses on the Internet and diplomacy), research, publishing, and other activities centred around the WSIS process.
