Sorina Teleanu, Diplo’s Director of Knowledge, contributed to an event titled ‘Looking ahead to the WSIS+20 Review’, hosted by the Swiss Confederation, the Internet Society, and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie on 3 March 2025 in Geneva.
The event, attended by Geneva-based diplomats and representatives of various international organisations, featured discussions on ways in which UN Member States, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, can support the UN in its efforts to realise the ambition of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) vision of a digital world at the service of humanity, in light of the latest agreements achieved with the Global Digital Compact (GDC).
