Event description
Diplo’s activities in 2003 culminated with participation at the WSIS at the end of the year. Diplo also participated in the preparatory process for the summit by providing capacity building for diplomats from developing countries. Diplo’s stand at WSIS provided a venue for discussions and meetings, and conferences held in the Diplo conference space were well attended for all activities. Another aspect of Diplo’s participation at WSIS was the creation of the Information Society Portal, which provides up-to-date access to data about the Information Society.
