Diplo/Geneva Internet Platform hosted a briefing on digital governance issues for the Ambassadors of Rwanda and Sweden to the UN in New York, in their capacities as co-facilitator of the Global Digital Compact (GDC) process. Topics covered during the briefing included, among others:
– The evolution of the digital governance architecture.
– Key digital policy issues on the global agenda.
– The connections between the GDC process, the Internet Governance Forum, and the upcoming review of the World Summit on the Information Society.
– The need to strengthen connections between digital governance discussions in Geneva and New York.
