The conference ‘Diplomacy: Profession in Peril?’ gathered diplomats, academics, and journalists.
Jovan Kurbalija presented his tripartite methodology of following impact of digitalisation on diplomacy:
- new geopolitical and geoeconomic enviornment
- new topics on the diplomatic agenda
- new tools for diplomacy
This tripartite method is based on historical research about the impact of communication technologies (telegraph, telephone, and television) on diplomacy.
