[Webinar] Social Media and Diplomacy - the new normal

 Online   8 Feb 2013    Webinar

[Update] This webinar is now over.

Here you can read a digest, or you can watch the recording of the webinar

The use of online social media as a tool to support diplomatic functions is fast becoming the norm. Join us for our live webinar on Friday, February 8th at 13:00 GMT (14:00 CET) with Pete Cranston on social media and diplomacy.

Embassies and Ministries differ only in the extent to which they embrace the new media and mainstream it in their activities. Much has been written in the past three years about this e-diplomacy.

In this webinar, our lecturer Pete Cranston will focus on four areas:

  • The context in 2013 for e-diplomacy
  • Essential e-competencies for diplomats
  • Understanding content - it's role in social media and how to make it central to e-diplomacy
  • Building the organizational capability to embrace and exploit e-diplomacy

Please join us for the next webinar on Social Media and Diplomacy which will be held on Friday, February 8th at 13:00 GMT (14:00 CET). Attendance is free but registration is required.

Registration is now closed
