5th Geneva Engage Awards

 Geneva, online   29 Jan 2020    E-diplomacy

[Update] The list of winners, detailed report and methodology explanation, and photo gallery are now available.

The annual Geneva Engage Awards recognise the actors in International Geneva in their social media outreach and engagement. The awards are a Geneva Engage initiative, which fosters effective links between International Geneva and communities worldwide that are affected by issues such as climate change, human rights, development, and migration, whose policies are discussed and negotiated in Geneva. The three categories of the Geneva Engage Awards are: International Organisations, Non-Profit Organisations and Associations, and Permanent Representations to the United Nations in Geneva.

Geneva Engage

The year 2020 marks 20 years of Diplo’s constant work in the field of online participation, including online courses, webinars, and the online participation of events. This year, the Geneva Internet Platform will look at online participation in particular as a tool for engagement and part of the broader e-diplomacy framework.

Geneva Engage is an initiative of the Geneva Internet Platform, supported by the Republic and State of Geneva, and DiploFoundation.
The Geneva Engage Awards are based on an analysis of innovative and effective use of social media, carried out by DiploFoundation’s data team.
Join us on Wednesday, 29th January at the WMO/OMM, at 16h CET.

Visit the official event site for the programme.
