The Digital Democracy for All (DD4ALL) project is a collaborative initiative designed to advance secure, inclusive, and effective digital governance in Serbia and Armenia. While the project unites both countries in strengthening their digital governance systems, it addresses distinct priorities based on their specific national contexts and needs.
The 2-day in-situ training aimed to support policy-shapers in understanding digital policy challenges, digital governance frameworks, and the multistakeholder ecosystem, and in particular the roles CSOs play in shaping and implementing national policies.
These sessions, initiated by GIZ, marked an important step in strengthening local capacities to engage meaningfully in global and regional digital policy processes. Designed to be both informative and interactive, the training provided participants with foundational knowledge as well as practical insights into the fast-evolving digital landscape. Topics ranged from multistakeholder governance models to the societal impacts of AI, with a focus on empowering CSOs to contribute to policy dialogue and advocacy.
These trainings are just the beginning of a broader initiative aimed at supporting civil society’s involvement in digital governance. Follow-up activities are already in development.
