Topics for briefings on digital governance
Every month, Diplo hosts briefings for Geneva-based diplomats who follow digital governance issues. These are informal discussions aimed at assisting diplomats to stay up to date with and unpack developments in the digital governance space.
Some of the topics we have covered in the past include: negotiations of the Global Digital Compact, digital governance updates from the General Assembly, outer space diplomacy, neurotechnology and neurorights, updates on AI governance processes, the UN Convention against Cybercrime, the interplay between WSIS and GDC processes, debriefs after major meetings such as the IGF, UNGA General Debate, and SDG Summits, etc.
