Maxime Stauffer
Science-Policy Officer, Geneva Science-Policy Interface

Maxime Stauffer is science-policy officer at the Geneva Science-Policy Interface (GSPI). He contributes to the strategy, methodology, and activities of the GSPI, with a particular focus on knowledge brokering and the development of content related to the field of science-policy engagement.
Maxime is also co-founding chief executive officer of the Simon Institute for Longterm Governance (SI). Previously, he was co-founding research director at Effective Altruism Geneva, advised the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) on evidence-based policymaking and was a researcher at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID). His academic background is in international relations and complex systems science.
