Dr. Margaret Nyambura Ndung’u is a distinguished ICT expert with close to three decades experience spanning public, private, and development sectors. She has shaped key strategies and policies, including the Kenya National Digital Masterplan 2022–2032 and the African Union Child Online Safety and Empowerment Policy, 2024.
She is a founding member of the Network of African Women in Cybersecurity and actively participates in global digital policy discourses. She seats in the Digital Innovation Board of the ITU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Alliance for Digital Development. She is a former Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and Digital Economy, Kenya.
Dr. Ndung’u holds a PhD in Information Systems; University of Nairobi and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Tshwane University of Technology.
