The publication started taking shape in 2004, when the Canadian Foreign Service Institute asked Kishan S. Rana and Diplo to help develop a short course on bilateral diplomacy in a ‘self-learning’ format for distance learning. A series of cartoons was developed to provide a visual depiction of the manner in which diplomacy is practiced. A selection of these cartoons resulted in this e-book, published in June 2018.
