Event description
In November 2004, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan established the Working Group on Internet Governance (WGIG), with the mandate to explore the future of Internet governance. The WGIG included 40 leading Internet governance experts, and Diplo’s activities in the field were recognised through the appointment of Dr Jovan Kurbalija as a member, representing Diplo and the Global Knowledge Partnership.
