This year, 7 candidates graduated Master in Contemporary Diplomacy from the University of Malta and DiploFoundation. The graduation ceremony took place at the Jesuit’s Church in Valletta, Malta.
The graduates and their research topics were: Christian Faure (Graduating from Least Developed Country to Middle Income Country Status: A Trap for Small Island Developing States?), Lucy Mumbua Mulili (The Role of Diplomacy in Reducing Small Arms Proliferation in East Africa), Reem Wahdan-Jarrar (Palestinian Statehood Diplomacy: The Palestinian UN Bids of 2011-2012), Christopher Mark Anthony Darville (A Study of Political Asylum: With a Focus on Latin America Particularly Ecuadorian Foreign Policy), Szilvia Sommer (Female Leadership in Conflict Prevention, Diplomacy and UN Peacekeeping Initiatives), Fitina Patience Msiska (The Diplomatic Community and Good Governance in Malawi: Construction of Sovereignty in the Malawi Media), and Veronica Cretu (The Role of Diplomatic missions in Open Government).
