Some of the most impressive e-tools we can use are those that help us avoid a missed meeting. These can be used in long-range planning or in TelePresence Democrisis management. We have seen excellent examples of planned remote participation in the UN IGF process - including the current EuroDIG meeting using WebEx, UN Webcast and DimDim, and quick adaptations to the Iceland Ash Travel Restrictions using these and other tools.

There is a wide range of etools available from simple chat or Skype to sophisticated telepresence tools like those used at the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference COPP 15 which you can see here. Tell us about your experience in a comment here or on the e-participation blog.
