Alan Franklin obtained an LLB and JD from the University of Toronto and an LLM in international law from the London School of Economics. He is currently teaching virtual courses on International Business Risk Management and Due Diligence to executive MBA students at Athabasca University in Canada. During winter months, he instructs courses on International Dispute Resolution and the Law of International Organizations at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. For several years, as a faculty member at Diplo, and in association with the University of Malta, Alan has taught the Diplomatic Law: Privileges and Immunities online course. He has also taught courses on international law for the University of London, and he created and chairs an association of former UN ambassadors in the USA.
