Online and WMO building, Geneva

Event description

It has been another busy month for Internet governance and digital policy. Cybersecurity remains high on the agenda as new cooperation arrangements on information security emerge. Facebook’s Internet.org has generated debate about net neutrality, while surveillance is being tackled in the USA with the new Freedom Act. In the EU, plans for the Digital Single Market have been unveiled. Which other IG developments took place in May, and how are these developments expected to shape future developments. What can we expect in June? Join us online, or in situ, for our next webinar briefing on Tuesday, 26th May, at 11:00 UTC (13:00 CEST).

You receive hundreds of pieces of information on digital politics.
We receive them, too.
We decode, contextualise, and analyse them.
Then we summarise them for you.

Join us once a month for a round-up of the main IG-related events and developments. Every month, we look back at what happened and look ahead to what’s to come through a ‘zoomed-out’ update of the major global IG and digital policies developments.

The Internet governance in May 2015 webinar briefing will take place on Tuesday, 26th May, at 11:00 UTC (13:00 CEST). The webinar briefing takes place online, but you can also join in situ at 7 bis Avenue de la Paix, Geneva (WMO building, 2nd floor).
