DiploFoundation took part in the high-level African Conference on Internet Governance, in Algiers on 13 February, 2017.
The conference was organised by the African Development Bank and the International Telecommunication Union, and gathered ministers in charge of telecommunications as well as other senior experts from African countries. The topics on the agenda included Internet governance, online safety and cybersecurity, and profitability of the Internet. Diplo’s Vladimir Radunovic, director for cybersecurity and e-diplomacy, delivered a presentation and participated in a panel discussion on the economic potentials of the Internet and the role of various industry stakeholders in harnessing these potentials.
