Three Diplo fellows – Salanieta Tamanikaiwaimaro from Fiji, Anju Mangal from Fiji, and Dalsie Baniala from Vanuatu - recently took part in the first Pacific Internet Governance Forum in Nouma, New Caledonia, on 9-10 April, 2011.

Diplo sponsored two of the fellows under the Capacity Development Programme for ACP countries, supported by the European Commission and the ACP Secretariat.

Among the interventions during the Pacific IGF were those made by the Pacific class of Diplo’s Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme 2011 (Foundation Phase). The comments of the class were read out during the meeting.
