Although Internet governance deals with the core of the digital world, governance cannot be handled with the digital-binary logic of the true or false, or good or bad. Instead, the subject demands many subtleties and shades of meaning and perception, requiring an analogue approach, covering a continuum of options and compromises. The aim of this book, now in its fourth edition, is to provide a comprehensive overview of the main issues and actors in the field through a practical framework for analysis, discussion, and resolution of significant issues.
Translated versions of the book Internet governance: Issues, Actors and Divides (an earlier version of An Introduction to Internet Governance) are available in French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, and Portuguese, whereas a translated version of the current edition of An Introduction to Internet Governance is available in Serbian/BCS, and in French (second edition)

Thank you for making this course available, as internet governance is a fascinating and complex issue that hasn't yet been standardized and taught internationally. It is a good introduction for the applicants wishing to join in the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme in early 2012.
Thank you
Maxime R.
