
Diplo has a small, flexible structure: 24 managerial, technical, and administrative employees and around 65 teaching staff, tutors, coordinators, and project-related consultants. We turn over a yearly budget of about €1.5 million.

In 2012, 1111 participants from 152 countries attended 47 Diplo online and in situ courses: 30% diplomats, 20% civil servants, 20% staff of international organisations, 20% representatives of business and civil society, and 10% students of international relations. The feale/male ratio was approximately 60:40.
We consistently achieve good results in community building: at present more than 1000 community members participate in over 50 discussion groups and 33 remote participation hubs, i.e. networks created by members of the Internet governance community on their own initiative, allowing the virtual participation of people in conferences without incurring travel expenses.
