AARNet Pty Ltd (APL) is the company that operates Australia's Academic and Research Network (AARNet). It is a not-for-profit company limited by shares. The shareholders are 38 Australian universities and the CSIRO. AARNet provides high-capacity leading-edge Internet services for the tertiary education and research sector communites and their research partners.

Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) is the largest IP firm in the region. They have encouraged the introduction of IP laws and an efficient IP system that has introduced two significant changes to the region. Firstly, with the new legislation, major multinational corporations have been given the confidence to expand to the region because they are now assured of protection for their products. Secondly, the creative individuals of the Arab world such as architects, artists, designers, computer scientists, musicians and writers now enjoy the protection for their creations that ensures their hard work is properly rewarded.

ACOnet is the network for science, research and education in Austria funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture (BMBWK). ACOnet provides a powerful network- infrastructure based on DWDM-technology and Gigabit Ethernet for data communication between points of presence in the whole country. ACOnet provides full Internet connectivity and all Internet services to its cusomers.
