The DiploDirectory is a detailed online survey of websites of ministries of foreign affairs, embassies,
diplomatic and consular missions, trade missions and
cultural institutes. The directory database includes
close to 200 ministries of foreign affairs and almost 2000 diplomatic missions. Along with the address of each website, the directory provides links to frequently consulted pages (e.g. foreign policy, who's who, consular information), allowing users to
quickly find the part of the website most relevant for them.
Who should use the DiploDirectory?
The DiploDirectory is essential for diplomats, and others involved in international affairs, who need the information provided by the DiploDirectory on a daily basis in the course of their work. The DiploDirectory will also prove useful for the general public: websites of diplomatic services include a wealth of information such as visa requirements, tourist information and historical and cultural background. |

How can I use the
DiploDirectory?
You can access the DiploDirectory at http://www.diplomacy.edu/directory/
or visit the interactive
version for a map-based information search.
The Directory allows comprehensive searches: you can specify a search for information on:
a) the diplomatic service of a particular country, including a detailed listing of information such as diplomatic missions, foreign policy, consular affairs,
etc;
b) websites of diplomatic missions accredited to a particular country (for example, websites of diplomatic missions accredited to Italy);
c) websites of permanent missions accredited to international organisations.
