CONCLUSION
Conclusion
As times change so do customs generally. In diplomacy protocol too changes and
develops, mirroring broader societal norms. Protocol is often considered to be synonymous
with formality, but for diplomacy protocol provides the commonly accepted norms of
behaviour for the conduct of relations between states. As informality becomes the norm in
diplomacy, so diplomatic protocol will help systematize and therefore stabilize these new
forms in the communication and negotiation between states.
